The safety of everyone on Tasky — customers, Taskers and the wider community — is fundamental to how we operate. This policy sets out the standards we expect, the protections we provide, and what to do if you feel unsafe. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions and Trust & Security commitments.
1. Verification and vetting
Taskers complete identity verification before they can offer services, and certain categories require additional checks such as background screening, licences or certifications. Verified status is shown through badges so customers can make informed choices. Verification reduces but does not eliminate risk, so we ask all users to remain attentive and follow this policy.
2. Expected conduct
All users must:
Treat each other with respect and professionalism, free from harassment, discrimination, threats or abuse.
Provide honest, accurate information about themselves and the task.
Comply with all applicable UAE laws and local regulations, including any permits or licences required for the service.
Keep communication and payment on the Platform, so interactions are logged and protected.
Respect privacy and property, and obtain consent before taking photos involving other people.
3. In-person safety
Many tasks involve meeting in person or entering a home or workplace. To stay safe:
Confirm the Tasker’s identity and verification badges in the app before work begins.
Keep arrangements, instructions and payment within Tasky.
Use in-app messaging, calling and live location features rather than sharing personal contact details unnecessarily.
Be present or ensure a responsible adult is present where appropriate, and secure valuables.
Trust your instincts — if a situation feels unsafe, stop and remove yourself.
4. Prohibited and high-risk activities
Tasks that are illegal, dangerous, or that require professional licensing the Tasker does not hold are not permitted. Tasky may decline, remove or restrict listings and tasks that pose safety, legal or regulatory risk. Users must not use the Platform to facilitate anything unlawful under UAE law.
5. Reporting and emergencies
If you are in immediate danger, contact the UAE emergency services first: Police 999, Ambulance 998/999, Civil Defence 997. Then report the incident to Tasky.
Report safety concerns, inappropriate behaviour or incidents through the in-app report function or at [safety@tasky.ae]. We review reports promptly, may suspend accounts during investigation, and take action up to and including permanent removal and referral to authorities.
6. Incidents, insurance and damage
If property damage or injury occurs in connection with a task, report it to Tasky as soon as possible with details and supporting evidence (photos, descriptions, times). Tasky will guide you through the claims and resolution process and escalate to our risk team. Where insurance or a service guarantee applies to a category, the applicable terms will govern.
7. Enforcement
Breaching this policy may lead to warnings, reduced visibility, suspension, removal from the Platform, withholding of funds in line with our Terms, and — where appropriate — reporting to the relevant UAE authorities.
